Description: Whispers of Mykonos is the curatorial concept developed for Silversands Mykonos, currently in progress and scheduled to open in 2027.
Inspired by the island’s distinctive light, natural materiality and Cycladic heritage, the collection translates the architectural vision of the resort into a contemporary visual narrative. Rather than replicating tradition, the artworks reinterpret local forms, textures and craftsmanship through the work of contemporary Greek artists.
The collection brings together commissioned artworks, bespoke installations and carefully curated pieces that explore clay, textile and organic materials, creating a dialogue between art, architecture and the surrounding landscape. Throughout the resort, each work has been selected to foster a sense of calm, intimacy and sensory connection while complementing the interior design and natural light.
Designed as a cohesive site-specific collection, the artworks encourage quiet moments of reflection and discovery, expressing the timeless character of Mykonos through a contemporary artistic language.
The project is currently in progress and is scheduled to open in 2027.
