Description: As revealed by the resort’s name, the key theme around which the narrative expanded was the
element of Wind (Aeolus). According to mythology, Aeolus was the treasurer of the different winds appointed by Zeus. Our objective was to create an art program that would include artworks that would depict all these different types of winds: others calmer, others more intense bringing different energies to the space, while maintaining the sense of totality. In order to avoid a ‘gallery feel’ of diverse art pieces we collaborated with American artist Tracie Cheng, whose different works were the perfect fit for the project.
