From the Studio: An Exhibition of Graduates from the Athens School of Fine Arts at Moxy Athens City

Continuing its commitment to contemporary art and cultural engagement, Moxy Athens City, managed by SWOT Hospitality, recently presented From the Studio, the latest exhibition of Moxy Art Affairs. Bringing together five recent graduates from the Athens School of Fine Arts, the exhibition transformed the hotel’s arcade into a vibrant meeting point between hospitality, contemporary art and the city’s creative community.

Curated by Aliki Tsirliagkou, founder of ArtSpark Consultants, together with Lenio Papantonopoulou, the exhibition was developed in collaboration with the Liaison Office of the Athens School of Fine Arts and Kostas Christopoulos. Featuring works by Phaedra Galani, Phaedra Kazantzaki, Anastasios Klis, Konstantinos Korakis and Andriana Fakinou, From the Studio celebrated the artistic journeys of five recent graduates, offering visitors the opportunity to discover their individual practices across painting, photography and mixed media.

Throughout the exhibition, guests and visitors explored a collection that reflected each artist’s personal creative development, highlighting the ideas, experimentation and visual language that emerged during their years at the Athens School of Fine Arts.

As part of the ongoing Moxy Art Affairs programme, From the Studio reinforced Moxy Athens City’s vision of creating meaningful cultural experiences that extend beyond hospitality. By opening its spaces to emerging artists and encouraging interaction between creators, guests and the local community, the hotel continues to establish itself as a destination where creativity is embedded in the everyday guest experience.

For ArtSpark Consultants, the exhibition reflects an ongoing commitment to developing cultural programmes that connect hospitality with contemporary artistic practice. Through carefully curated collaborations, initiatives like From the Studio demonstrate how hotels can become platforms for emerging talent, fostering meaningful dialogue while strengthening their connection with the cultural identity of their destination.

The exhibition will remain on view at Moxy Athens City until 16 September 2026, inviting hotel guests and visitors alike to discover the work of a new generation of Greek artists.
